Everything You Need To Know About Smoke Damage

3/15/2022 (Permalink)

Did you know there are three main types of fire, smoke and residues that can plague your home after a fire?

Natural fires leave behind a dry powdery residue when they come in contact with things like wood or paper, products made from environmental substances. The residue will look grey/black in color, and will be way easier to clean up than any other fire circumstances.

Fires caused by the burning of proteins like dishes rich in meat and beans will leave behind a yellow/brown residue. With these kinds of smoke damage situations the residue will feel greasy because of its interaction with food, and thus will be pretty hard to clean up.

Synthetic residues appear when oil based materials, like plastics and fabrics are burned in a fire. So this could be anything from furniture, carpets, electronics, toys, etc. When these materials burn they produce a very thick black smoke that will cover your house in a hard to clean up residue. In this situation avoid touching any of the synthetic residue to prevent smearing, and let a certified professional service, like SERVPRO of Wyomissing, clean it up to ensure your safety and your home’s.

If you have any smoke damage that you need cleaned, call SERVPRO of Wyomissing at (610)208-0300.

Why SERVPRO of Wyomissing? Local Reviews Tell All!

3/15/2022 (Permalink)

The SERVPRO of Wyomissing team really values what our customers have to say about our services. And that’s why we love to hear from YOU and any feedback that will help us be better in the future. SERVPRO of Wyomissing is always hoping to improve. We would love to share some of our reviews from actual customers.

Here is a review from Sara about our mold remediation services:

“Michele was amazing. She spent an entire afternoon looking all over our basement for the cause of water damage + mold after we had recently moved in. Eventually, she found a leaky pipe and had her team + the plumber in our home the very next morning to take care of it all. Michele and her team were pleasant, kind, and explained things in a way we understood - not just the way SHE understood. She was quick to calm me down as I was having a meltdown about the amount of work that needed to be done. In short, she put our needs and concerns before anything else and made sure we felt comfortable with the work that needed to be done without pressuring us to do anything we weren't prepared for. I can't say enough amazing things about Michele. She's passionate and knowledgeable, and the ONLY person I'd recommend for the job." Thank you, Michele!”

Here is a review from Thomas about unexpected damages we helped clean up:

“I really don't even know where to start. Michele and the team of SERVPRO of Wyomissing are THE resource for taking care of unexpected damages. Last week, my wife and I returned home from an out of state wedding shocked and horrified to find a squirrel had managed to get into our home and did unfathomable amounts of damage. They were the first to respond to my calls for help...even before my insurance company made contact. Little did I know at that point that SERVPRO would be the only operation that had our back. They quickly assessed the damages and while we assumed we'd be covered, the next morning when Michele and company arrived to the previously scheduled appointment we were hit with the news that our homeowners insurance would not be supporting us in any way. As you can imagine this was crushing to my wife and I as we realized we had thousands upon thousands in damages and clean up. At this point we felt abandoned by everyone and this is when Michele and the team took the situation into their own hands and decided they would stand by us regardless if insurance would pay out or not. At this time of year, they gave us a gift I will never ever forget and got our house back up to livable standards and allowed us to start the process of putting our lives back together. There are no words great enough to express how thankful I am for what they did. 10/10 service. 100% would recommend them for any and all disaster clean up.”

SERVPRO of Wyomissing loves to hear from our customers, whether it is kind words of support or areas where we could improve because we always want to be at our best for you and the rest of the Wyomissing community. At SERVPRO of Wyomissing we are here for our community 24/7 365 days of the year for any fire, water, sewer, mold, cleaning or even when a squirrel wreaks havoc! We cover it all.

Got Mold? SERVPRO Has Your Answer, Not Clorox

3/7/2022 (Permalink)

Bleach can actually feed the very persistent mold that is creeping through your house. When it comes to getting rid of this fungus, we are generally accustomed to reaching for the quickest solution: bleach. In an effort to keep our homes nice and clean, we fail to realize we are actually making the problem worse.

Dehumidification is another element to mold removal that individuals may not realize is extremely important. Removing the relative humidity, which causes the mold to grow, halts any further growth.

Mold removal is a lengthy process. You need to identify, any and all, areas of your home or business infected by mold. These areas are usually exposed to high levels of humidity, or wetness, like bathrooms and unfinished basements.

Cleanup may require building materials to be removed, replaced or a combination of both. It is also likely that portions of the property’s walls will need to be opened and cleaned up to really tackle growth that commonly happens within walls, as well.

Don’t be fooled, this type of remediation is best left to the professionals. We run air filtration systems, follow our training, abide by safety procedures and wear goggles, masks and other protective clothing.

With our customer’s best interest in mind, we recommend hiring professionals, like us at SERVPRO of Wyomissing, to do the job! We have the training, experience and expertise working with mold removal. We can be reached 24/7, 365 days a year at 610-208-0300.

How to Protect Your Business from Fire Disasters

11/22/2021 (Permalink)

As wild fires ravage states and entire countries across the world, business owners should take this as a warning to learn about how they can stop the preventable fires that could happen in their very own business.

And while commercial owners already have so much to keep track of, fire safety is a worthwhile focus for anyone, and may help you stop disaster before it even happens. Plus dealing with the ramifications of a fire takes a lot more time, energy and money than learning about fires and protecting yourself against the possibility of a fire ever happening.

Here are some of the most common causes for a workplace fire:

Electrical and heating equipment can cause major disasters if they are improperly maintained, operated or installed. It would prove worthwhile to do a check of any appliances to make sure they are safe and up to standard. And this should be a regular occurrence as equipment can breakdown quickly under the hustle and bustle of a business.

If you’re a restaurant or a facility that utilizes cooking equipment then be sure to make sure that these appliances are always under watch and surveillance when being used.

And like the previous causes, mechanical equipment needs to be properly aligned and lubricated to avoid mechanical friction fires.

Also don’t forget about your cleaning products! While they may not always be the cause, they can very much be the reason a fire gets bigger and bigger and spreads. Avoid excessive storage of combustible materials.

And while there are so many reasons that a fire can start, these are the most easily identifiable and preventable. To keep your business running successfully, check, recheck and maintain all equipment and procedures. It also doesn’t hurt to have an overload of smoke detectors and fire alarms too!

SERVPRO of Wyomissing is easily reached at (610)208-0300 for all of your commercial needs!

What's A Sewage Backup Mean for Your Business?

11/16/2021 (Permalink)

Has your business been effected by water damage? It’s important to call your local SERVPRO franchise in these situations because not all water damage situations are the same as there are three different types of water that can flood your business.

What are the three types?

Category 1

Clean water is considered a category 1 loss, which is water that spills from a broken water line. If this is left untreated the water can be downgraded to category 2 or 3 depending on how long it sits.

Category 2

Gray water is considered a category 2 loss. Gray water may contain bacteria and viruses from a washing machine, dishwasher or a toilet WITHOUT fecal matter overflow. This too can be degraded to a category 3 loss if left untreated.

Category 3

Black water is considered a category 3 loss, which means the water may contain untreated sewage, harsh chemicals and microbes. This can happen from flooding rivers or sewer backups.

While sewage back-ups are some of the most common disasters businesses face, they are the most dreaded and dangerous as far as disasters go. Why? Because the unsanitary conditions can lead to serious health complications found from the bacteria and viruses in the sewage.

These sorts of disasters require special training, equipment and services to safely handle this type of contamination. And that’s why it’s important to call SERVPRO of Wyomissing at (610)208-0300 with any questions or for our expert services!

What To Do When A Storm Knocks Out Your Power

11/16/2021 (Permalink)

Residents of Wyomissing are no strangers to power outages from all kinds of storms, but the worst are the outages that come from the few ice storms we receive every winter. These kinds of storms are lethal as the ice weighs everything down, destroys power lines, makes trees fall down and leaves you in the dark and cold, especially if you don’t have a back up generator.

And these power outages can last for days, or even weeks!

While we hope it doesn’t happen, SERVPRO of Wyomissing wants to make sure you’re prepared for the possibility of an ice storm because its happened before, and most likely will happen again.

So what should you do before you lose power?

First things first, always pay attention to the weather forecast during the winter. And if anything pops up on the radar, make sure your electronics are charged and ready to be used in case of an emergency. Don’t forget extra batteries too! Also be sure to stock your pantry with non-perishable foods and drinks, like cereal, granola, peanut butter, bottled water, canned foods, etc. Pro tip: do this before the storm even hits the radar to avoid the mass exodus to the grocery store the day before a big storm. And just pop into the store for bread and any fresh fruits you feel like you can’t live without.

While this is a more expensive preparation, it could be extremely useful to buy a generator AND keep it outside of your home, like in the garage because of the possibility for high levels of carbon monoxide.

And what should you do during the power outage?

Unplug any devices you don’t need the generator to power, like game systems, lamps, etc. This will help you avoid any further damage from power surges. And be mindful of how often you open and close your refrigerator and freezer in order to keep previously food as fresh as possible.

But most importantly, don’t panic because you’ve already prepared.

If you have any questions about how else to prepare or the storm damages your property, reach out to SERVPRO of Wyomissing at (610)208-0300 so we can help!

Is Your Roof Ready for the Winter?

11/10/2021 (Permalink)

Winter is coming.

And as much as SERVPRO of Wyomissing is dedicated to helping our community, our favorite part of our job is helping stop a disaster before it starts.

And the Winter season is almost upon us, so how can you prepare for the wintery mix?

First things first, the roof.

The pitch of your roof is essential in understanding what to look for, and adjust according to the weather. Is your roof steep? Does it have an almost level part? If you have a flat roof then snow is more likely to collect and congest. The steeper the pitch the less likely you face damage from snow piling up.

If you have a flat roof, you're not doomed. You just need to take some extra precautions, like clearing your drains of leaves and what not from autumn. During the Winter, as cold and miserable as it may be, you also need to be vigilant about ice blockages in your drains. The more ice, the more build up and the heavier the snow means increased changes of collapse and damage.

If you´re home or business has a steeper pitch you should still stay vigilant about snow build up, and invest in a roof rake to avoid that dreaded snow and ice build up that can lead to immense damage.

Have more questions about how to be best prepared for Winter weather?

Just call SERVPRO of Wyomissing at (610) 208-0300 because we are “faster to any size disaster.”

How To Maintain Your Fireplace

11/10/2021 (Permalink)

As we get closer to winter and frigid temperatures, pools are closing, and fireplaces are heating up. And we, just as much as everyone else, love coming home to a warm house, crackling wood and that smell that is just quintessential winter, snow and cozy clothes.

But with a fireplace, comes the risk of potential fire damage if your fireplace is not well maintained or cleaned.

So to avoid any possible disasters, here are some fireplace safety tips to practice in your home:

  • Make sure to open the flue damper to avoid any clogging of soot. You do not want soot or smoke to build up inside or around your fireplace because soot is a silent killer for you and your home.
  • When building your fire, be sure to safely position your logs as to avoid any burning logs from falling and spreading flames beyond the safety of your fireplace.
  • Clean your fireplace regularly, and if you have gas logs then make sure to do the same with them as well.

While those are just some general tips to keep you and your home safe, also be more cautious as the holidays come into full swing. Be vigilant about lighting the menorah and where your stockings hang.

To learn more about how to prevent fireplace disasters in your home, contact the fire restoration professionals at SERVPRO of Wyomissing at (610) 208-0300!

All the Facts That You Need to Know About Fire

11/9/2021 (Permalink)

  1. Inhaling smoke and soot can cause health effects. If you have ingested any smoke, go to the hospital to take care of yourself and we'll take care of your home.
  2. Soot is carbon particles from wood, coal or oil that spread, float and cover every inch of surface that it touches. Sometimes you can't even see it.
  3. Interestingly enough, water can be good or bad for fire depending on the situation. Water puts out most fires, except for kitchen fires, but you need to make sure that after the fire is extinguished that your property is completely dried. If you don't, you run the risk of not only fire damage, but mold and water damage as well.
  4. Did you know mold can begin to grow as quickly as 48 hours after water damage occurs.
  5. If you decide to clean your home individually then make sure you are wearing the proper attire to protect your health. Work gloves, safety goggles, face mask are imperative.
  6. Make sure to get a copy of your fire report. It's a public document that will make the entire insurance process so much easier for all involved.
  7. Respect and appreciate your local firefighters.

A Holiday Fire Hazard You Need To Be Aware Of

11/9/2021 (Permalink)

If you celebrate Christmas, then you will probably have a tree of some kind looming in your home. And did you know this is putting you and your property at risk for damage?

Christmas trees alone result in 13 million dollars, annually, in property damage. More importantly, these fires present real risk towards family and friends. When showcasing a live tree in your home, the combination of tree dryness, electrical malfunction with lights and poorly located heating sources can make for a deadly combination. And no one wants to deal with a home disaster, especially around the holidays.

But if your holiday is just not complete without a live tree, follow these safety precautions to keep threats at bay:

  • Fresh trees are less likely to catch fire, so look for a tree with vibrant green needles that are hard to pluck and don’t break easily from its branches. The tree shouldn’t be shedding its needles readily.
  • Always place your tree away from heat sources like fireplaces, radiators, candles, heat vents or lights, and keep the tree base filled with water to avoid a dry out.
  • Make sure all your indoor and outdoor Christmas lights have been tested in a lab by the UL or ETL/ITSNA for safety, and throw out any damaged lights.
  • Any lights you use outdoors must be labeled suitable for exterior placement, and be sure to plug them into a ground-fault circuit interrupter protected receptacle.
  • Keep all your holiday candles away from your Christmas tree, surrounding furniture and décor.
  • Bedtime means lights off! Don’t forget to turn your Christmas tree lights off each night.

When your tree begins to drop its needles, it’s time to say goodbye to your evergreen foliage until next year. So this year, follow our guidelines to avoid being another statistic in the National Fire Protection Association or United States Fire Administration report during the upcoming holiday season.

Emergency Storm Tips

10/22/2021 (Permalink)

Certifications 101: What Do These Acronyms Mean?

5/14/2019 (Permalink)

On our Company Profile we have numerous certifications, but what do they mean and what can we legally do with them? SERVPRO is here to explain and to make you feel even better about calling our company to leave your disaster “Like it never even happened.”

First things first, we’re supported by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) firm. The IICRC is a non-profit organization dedicated to the cleaning and restoration industry. With the support of the IICRC, we are able to earn the most legitimate and prestigious training and certificates within the industry. SERVPRO is the structure, and the IICRC is the foundation.

Applied Structural Drying (ASD) Technician Certification:

The ASD is crucial for employees to learn the effective and efficient drying process of structures and foundations impacted by water damage situations. The training for this certificate entails three days of hands-on training, classroom lessons and an encompassing exam. An ASD certificate ensures efficiency, less time on the job and more satisfied customers.

Employee Certification Training Program (ECTP):

The ECTP is a program created by the SERVPRO franchise to continue to evolve the standard of service our customers receive. Certification is granted to SERVPRO employees once they complete each module, which covers crew training, fire restoration, water restoration and carpet and upholstery cleaning.

Lead-Based Paint Activities and Renovation (RRRP):

The RRRP is certified and standardized through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This certification essentially allows us to assess, handle and remove lead-based hazards and damages.

Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT):

The WRT is a course given through the IICRC that is designed to train employees to better understand the infiltration of water damage, the ensuing effects and the proper and efficient techniques for drying structures. This certification helps expand an employee’s knowledge of contaminations, sewer backups and water losses during a disaster.

SERVPRO of Wyomissing is currently in the process of training more employees, and acquiring new certificates to meet and exceed the industry’s standards and the customer’s needs. For more information, visit our Highly Trained Restoration Specialists page.

Your SERVPRO Lingo: Mitigation vs. Repair

5/14/2019 (Permalink)

We often find mitigation and repair used interchangeably, but they are two different words for two entirely different services that SERVPRO provides!

The dictionary definition of mitigation is: the action of reducing the severity, seriousness or painfulness of something. So essentially mitigation is the process of treating the site of loss to prevent any further damage or destruction on homes or businesses. SERVPRO’s mitigation process comes in many different forms depending on the kind of loss, but our main goal is ensure our customers are out of harms way as quickly and efficiently as possible. For instance during most water damage scenarios, we mitigate the effected space by opening up walls and removing flooring due to moisture barriers, apply anti-microbial and dry them.

The dictionary definition of repair is: fix or mend (a thing suffering from damage or a fault). So essentially repair is the process of stopping the cause of loss from imposing more damage or destruction on homes or businesses by replacing or returning the damaged source to optimal condition. Depending on the repair process, SERVPRO will directly fix the faulty structure or device or sometimes we will call in our trusted local partners that are more certified or better equipped to handle your disaster. We’re all in this together to make it “Like it never even happened.”

Who is SERVPRO of Wyomissing?

When SERVPRO of Wyomissing thinks about Pete

The SERVPRO brand has been serving the United States since 1967, but SERVPRO of Wyomissing joined the premier cleaning and restoration brand in May 2010.

This franchise grew from a lifelong friendship between Peter Bruni and Michele McEntee. Pete was already a well-established plumber, electrician and real estate agent in the Berks County area. He saw the SERVPRO business as the perfect opportunity to build upon and expand his skills and career, while also helping his neighbors in their time of need. Michele’s experience as a real estate agent and flipping houses, and her ability to comfort people and pets in the time of disaster made her the perfect partner for Pete. The two friends had an understanding and commitment to each other to serve the Wyomissing community, and to leave a legacy for Pete’s family once they realized Pete’s health was in jeopardy. Unfortunately, the Bruni family, SERVPRO and the greater Wyomissing area lost Pete in 2016.

In the face of tragedy and adversity, Michele rose to the challenge, and continues to lead SERVPRO of Wyomissing. She is a great example for all females and aspiring business-owners in the trade industry! Michele attributes her success to her friendship with Pete, her added motivation to continue spreading and living Pete’s legacy and her support system that she says, “This is all impossible without them.”

In 2013, Michele hired a motivated, loyal and dedicated employee named Rodney. She had no idea he would become her right hand man throughout every devastating weather event and disaster. Rodney grew up in the Wyomissing area, and continues to grow under the SERVPRO umbrella. For Rodney, “SERVPRO is family,” and for Michele, Rodney is a new friendship forged.

Now they tackle disasters, clean your homes and take turns bringing furry friend treats to the office! Michele has two cute doggies named Sancho and Cabo. Rodney also has an adorable pup named Mini.

SERVPRO of Wyomissing is way more than just your local fire and water restoration company, it’s all about legacy, respect, family and pet pals more than anything else!

SERVPRO of Wyomissing Sets Up Shop at Hops for Hooves Fundraiser

5/6/2019 (Permalink)

This weekend SERVPRO of Wyomissing put away the chemicals and moisture meters to support the local community! We had the incredible opportunity to be a vendor at the annual Hops for Hooves festival.

Hops for Hooves is a fundraising event for Grey Muzzle Manor Sanctuary, Inc. Grey Muzzle Manor is a nonprofit initiative geared towards providing a safe and healthy environment for senior animals. They provide adoption services, hospice care and community outreach programs, like Hops for Hooves, to assist older pets in avoiding the shelter system. Grey Muzzle Manor also provides animal assisted therapy so humans and furry friends can receive the love they deserve! Their initiative promotes a wholesome environment, self-love, peace and positivity through animal assisted therapy, art therapy, gardening and other mental health treatments.

We set up a tent this Saturday at the Liberty Fire Company to support this incredible cause. Our team had a bunch of SERVPRO merchandise and we provided a great raffle prize for one lucky winner to snag! SERVPRO of Wyomissing spent the day talking with other vendors and our amazing Wyomissing community, and of course petting all of our furry friends too!

We Get By With A Little Help From Our Moisture Meters

5/3/2019 (Permalink)

Our trusty Techcheck Plus!

SERVPRO relies heavily on the technology of moisture meters in instances of moisture buildup, whether it is a case of mold or water damage. These instruments are utilized to find damage or potential problems in foundations when there is an increased presence of moisture.

SERVPRO of Wyomissing utilizes two different kinds of meters! We utilize the Techcheck Plus and the Navigator Pro. The Techcheck Plus is easy to use, especially during our various drying jobs. It has a clear and bright digital display that’s very useful in dark places, like a crawl space. It utilizes a 0.1% to 6% drywall scale, and a 6% to 60% wood scale. Our favorite part? The built-in connector accepts any Delmhorst electrode.

We also love the Navigator Pro! It can be utilized for moisture in drywall, insulation, wood, concrete and plaster. It’s super versatile and efficient. We love its feature that provides advanced job definition, which means it organizes readings of the floors, walls and ceilings exposed to high-moisture situations.

With allergy season completely sprung, moisture meters are essential to making your homes and businesses go from wet to dry, and keeping your sinuses clear! SERVPRO is here to not only make it “Like it never even happened.” but also keep you healthy and safe.

Got Mold? SERVPRO Has Your Answer, Not Clorox

3/12/2019 (Permalink)

Mold spores can spread rapidly

Plan on tackling the mold yourself? Beware of the dangers that increase during the cleanup process because of the exposure to black mold. Mold exposure feels like a massive hangover and a headache you may never forget.

Wounded Warrior 5K run/walk

12/8/2017 (Permalink)

This Sunday, December 10, 2017. SERVPRO Wyomissing will be walking in support of Eric's angels. Come join us!

This walk/run for Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families. On that date, America watched in horror as approximately 3,000 people died including hundreds of firefighters and rescue workers. Many warriors note a sense of duty to volunteer for the military following these tragic events.

Sept. 11 also served as a stimulus for Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and New Dawn. Operation Iraqi Freedom refers to military operations in Iraq that began March 19, 2003 and officially ended August 31, 2010. Operation Enduring Freedom refers to combat operations in Afghanistan and other regions in support of the Global War on Terror. Operation New Dawn refers to the conclusion of operations in Iraq beginning September 1, 2010 and ending December 15, 2011.

For WWP, there is a distinct difference between members and alumni; the term alumni indicates a mutual shared experience and denotes your place in an organization was earned. There are no dues here - those were paid by wearing the uniform and on the battlefield.

SERVPRO has new neighbors

12/8/2017 (Permalink)

A new brewery is HERE in Cumru Township.

Josh Taylor, Lucan Schmidt and Joseph Mastruzzo, all 20-something graduates of Conrad Weiser High School, are opening Schaylor Brewing Co. at 2390 Lancaster Pike, Cumru Township. The building was once a Daewoo dealership and most recently served as a mixed martial arts gym. SERVPRO of Wyomissing is their new neighbor and glad to asssist in anyway to make another small business successful.

Their  business plan

The business owners started planning the brewery about a year ago. They have acquired all the permits they need from the township, and recently began construction inside the building. But they await their federal brewing permit.

"We put the idea together and started a business plan about a year ago, and started planning it all out, putting numbers together, and figured out it was feasible to do," said Schmidt, 29. "We then started the ball in motion looking for a place, and now we're doing construction."Taylor, who has worked at Chatty Monks Brewing Co. in West Reading and Reading Carbonics, will be in charge of brewing operations. Schmidt and Mastruzzo will focus on the business side. The brewery has an open layout with a U-shaped bar and additional table seating. The brewing equipment will be located in a front corner, and will be visible to the seating area as well as the outside through large windows."When we were searching for buildings, we came across this one, and we were very excited about it because it was an old car dealership," Taylor said. "We have the big lot so we can expand outside, and we have the wraparound windows so we can display our brewing equipment to people driving by."There will be a kitchen. Schaylor will offer a small food menu, which includes items such as sandwiches and flatbread pizzas. The brewery will be the latest in a line of new businesses to come to the Lancaster Pike corridor in Cumru Township. In recent years, Reading Public Auto Auction, Walgreens, AutoZone, Dollar General and Big Time Thrift Store have all opened nearby.

Getting funky

Schaylor will have eight taps to start, but that will likely expand. Taylor, Schmidt and Mastruzzo are all big fans of India pale ales, so many of the beers will be hoppy, but there will be other styles as well.

"We're going to brew some funky IPAs," Taylor said. "That's what we seek out. But we'll have decent variety, like stouts, Belgians and the whole works, but we'll specialize in IPAs. We're 'hop heads,' so we're going to jam hops anywhere we can in our beers."Schaylor's slogan is "brew outside the lines," so many of the beers will have a twist on them, Schmidt said."It's very nontraditional," he said. "A lot of his best IPAs look like orange juice when you put them in a glass. They're more smooth and less bitter."Schaylor will have several year-round beers, but it will brew many one-time batches, Schmidt said. With only eight taps, that means there will likely be times when certain year-round beers will not be available, he said."One of the biggest things we like to do is constantly brew different kinds of beer," he said. "With all our recipes, there might be a time when a certain flagship won't be on tap."Schaylor will be the seventh brewery in Berks County, joining Chatty Monks, Golden Avalanche Brewing Co. in Kutztown, Hidden River Brewing Co. in Union Township, Oakbrook Brewing Co. in Reading, Saucony Creek Brewing Co. in Maxatawny Township and The Other Farm Brewing Co. in Boyertown.
